I work in law enforcement, and my particular job involves outdoor and occasionally indoor work with inmates. This gun box is great for my work truck. I tether it to the seat frame and use it when transitioning indoors to secure my weapon/magazines. I don't even use batteries, just the key.

The keys provided with the safe did not open it. Had to return the product. Will go with a different brand.
