We needed this for birthday parties. It's large enough to hold enough drinks and ice for about 50 people. The handles are comfortable to hold and don't hurt my hands. I like that you can latch the lid closed to keep the cold in, but can leave it unlatched to make it easier for people to access.

This is a great quality cooler.. very roomy,, with tight shut,, so no leaks.. It has perfect grip rubber large handles on both sides. Also, a valve at the side bottom for easy drainage of melted ice. Igloo is a brand I trust and I know I will enjoy this cooler for many, many years.
