This book is a real treasure. I've been searching for it since 6 o'clock. My favorite part was when the detective opened the treasure chest and said "Yabba dabba do, here's a few bucks for F M U."

The story starts out well, but lost me when it turned to going into way to many details of how the synchrotron works and how it may help with DNA in Joe Gunther's current investigation. Red Herring is my least favorite book in the Joe Gunther series.
