Very easy to inflate and deflate using built in inflation system. Just plug in and switch on. Only takes minutes either way. Held up all night with 2 adults about 170 pounds each sleeping on it, with no air loss. The pillow part isn't as raised or defined enough to qualify as a real pillow though.
