Applied product to a 3X8 feet square. Went on easy with the old bushy 4 inch paint brush I'd kept for years. Dabbed it on, never brushing like when you paint with regular paint. Went over any smooth spots later and the 'popcorn' filled in well without pulling fresh texture off. Much less mess...
