I love the Midcentury Modern style kitties. Plan to use them year round. I bought a second set for my sister. Beautiful and practical. Without the plastic lids, the bowls can be used in a microwave. With the plastic lids, food can be stored in the refrigerator.

glass is the way to heat in the microwave but dont travel well for fluids..... these travel well with solid foods to work for the lunch day! they are not leak-proof though so wrap in a towel and plastic bag before going to work

I like that the bowls have cats on them, hard to resist, obviously. I put in the top rack of the dishwasher to wash for the first time and one of the tops got bent on a normal cycle ... this is a newer dishwasher, so that is disappointing. Otherwise they work well. Prefer to use glass and reusa...
