I would say if you're really serious about getting a good score on the ACT, you should buy the book like 4+ weeks before the test date so you have enough time to go through all the practice tests thoroughly without rushing through them/cramming.

I bought this for my fourth child prepping for the ACT. It's the only source we use. It's the only source we need. Great book! As always, Walmart has the best price.
