My husband and I purchased this for our two year old nephew for this past Christmas. At first he was unsure about it speaking and didn't want to sit in it but once I showed him where the voice came from and that I could shut it off he had a blast making it speak and carried it around giggling.

This was purchased for a 3 year old. He wasn't sure what to make of it at first until we started the sound effects. The sounds got his attention right away.

This item is a little smaller than I had envisioned but it will still work perfectly for the little boy I purchased it for. I would not recommend for anyone older than 5 as it is a very small chair. :-)

I am really glad I got this chair for my son to put in our living room. He really enjoys it and sits in it while watching his favorite show. The talking sometimes gets on my nerves but it is tolerable. This is a great beginner chair for a child!
