thermostat sticks causing it to run hot constantly. Not only is this a safety issue but a huge waste/consumption of electricity . Have tried to find replacement part on line to no avail. Hoping GHP Group can help with a solution as heater can not currently be used safely.

This large unit will NOT work with external thermostat. The remote is of port quality so you better have it somewhere you can reach. Dyna glo smaller units will work with external thermostat. There is a connection on mother board but from what i hear you can not use it.

The screen is hard to read. Has a spot to hook up external t-stat but cant find one on web site.

purchased Dyna Glo x series 15000. installed on 12/22/2022. the following day the area received a very very cold time, -5 (-25 with wind }. I tested the heater at full setting,95F. Started at 6AM and by noon it was 45F. At 6PM the garage art.ttemp was 64F. remember the garage was freezing at star...
