One of the best combos you can buy for the price. Reel is smooth. Rod is very sensitive. The grips are also very comfortable in the hand.

No issues with this combo at all, I've been using it a lot the past 3 months and it's held up to several good size fish. Once you get the reel adjusted it cast well and feels good. It's a fantastic set up especially if you are new to baitcasters.
