We ordered this one the same day our old one died. The cord in the old unit jammed and ruined the electric supply to the unit. We leave the cord extended on the new one. It's better to have the cord show than wreck the unit trying to hide the cord inside.

Lots of power, seriously liquidfied a whole lemon, skin seeds and all. Easy to turn up and down. Only wish there was 2 sealing gaskets instead of one, I tend to loose things. Easy clean up, watch the blade is extremely sharp, I clean the blade with blender running with a drop of soap and a cup ...

I replaced an old Cuisinart blender that died with this one that is very similar. I didn't want a blender with a plastic jar that would result in my ingesting tiny peaces of plastic.
