I bought this as a gift for a friend that loves to make soup and stews. She also loves Pioneer Woman recipes, etc. this is a very pretty piece. It seemed to be a bit heavier than most lower priced pots and pans. She loved it and was going to be using it over the holidays.

I currently have a 7qt. dutch oven that has been my "go to" for all of my cooking. Purchased this to try out a smaller option and it has been the perfect size. I have made soup, pasta and popcorn so far and it has been perfect. It looks great sitting on the stove as well.

This dutch oven is quite lovely. It looks fantastic on my stove. It did have a few minor flaws in the pattern on the lid, but nothing that was worth returning to the store and reordering it for at this price point. I'm looking forward to leaving it out for a bit of Christmas cheer in my kitchen.
