Squirrels can not get in to steal the bird seed, but birds can't either. The dome part comes down too low and the birds just won't go to this feeder....maybe they feel trapped if they went under the dome. Have had this out for two weeks now and feeder is still totally full from when I first fille...

While the concept is nice, the quality is VERY poor. The skirt is very thin and I would think this feeder would barely last a season. It looks nice and the metal components seem sturdy but the the rest is plastic and no a durable plastic. I returned mine.

This really is a squirrel proof feeder. But we haven't seen any birds on it yet either. The last non- squirrel proof feeder we had took some time for the birds to learn. so we'll give it some more time. We may have to modify the plastic dome.

have to return it. My husband and myself both tried to get the lid off and had to stop before we broke it. The lid is jammed. So no way to try it to review it as far as a feeder
