Our goldfinches figured out it within minutes. Finally they can eat out of a feeder which house finches cannot harass them.

It holds allot of Thistle seeds less time having to refill it I hope ,I can't what to get it up. I like that it is light weight and easy to take down and fill it and clean it ,if need be.

We've only had it for a week, but the finches love it and the sparrows have a difficult time with it. I don't know how well it will hold up over time.

My third upside down feeder like this. They do crack after many years of use but totally worth it! Live in Michigan and the temps are to blame. It's been a few years since I've had one of these. Had regular thistle feeder and all the other birds were eating it! Took a few days for the gold finche...

Just be mindful that this the clear part where the seeds are held is made of plastic. Still waiting for the finches to arrive.
