I bought this kettle for my husband and we wanted to love it so bad! Unfortunately it leaks terribly from the bottom and covers my entire counter top with water. Quite disappointed. :(

Got it for my husband who drives trucks so he can use it over the road it did not power up with his inverter this is meant for household usage it requires to much power

* Filter dislodges, falls on element. * Lid does not stay closed. Both problems caused by heat distortion of very thin plastic. NOTE: Used 3-4x per day, failed within two weeks.

It heated the water fine, it just wouldn't cut off automatically when the water was heated. The whole kettle including the handle was too hot to grab. Had to unplug to get it turned off.
