This is a good Granny Square book, but nothing spectacular. It is a little big for the hard cover, spiral connections to handle so I'm not sure it will hold up as well as one that I have that is a couple of inches smaller. I find it much easier to read diagrams of patterns over what I like to call the stitch gibberish (ex. Ch10, turn, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, sl st to the next st on Row 2 [9sc]). All those letters mean little to me, but a diagram or a picture I can figure out!

The book is presented in a logical and easy to follow manner. The pictures are colorful and the drawings are detailed. I especially liked the way the book is spiral bound so the book lays flat when open. A good value for many years to come.
