The shelf was easy to assemble. I used my own Hardware. Hardware was included but the hardware I had was Superior so I chose to use that instead. The wood is quality it's stained only on one side, and then the other side is natural wood. It's an absolutely gorgeous Shelf very pleased with it.

The metal bars were so bent out of shape they wouldn't fit onto the wall straight. I can only utilize about 1/3 of the holes that are needed to hang the dang things up. And the crews are too short - rips out of the wall very easily.
