I've used this all summer and even though it's rated at a healthy 12,000 BTUs, it doesn't seem to be as effective or quiet as a comparable window unit when the temperatures are high.

I have purchased 4 of these units, and they are very good. 1. I never have to drain the excess water. , and they work well in my bedrooms, and living room. 2. Have never had a problem with any of the 4 units. 3. Some I have had for several years.

This unit keeps my camper at a comfortable temp, and my little dog stays comfortable while i am at work

This unit cools so well can tell when 100degree days arrive in s. California i will be so comfortable , love that it cycles compressor on

I just received mine a few days ago. It seemed very quite and I was happy with the purchase. However, it started to hum its sounds vibrations in the back of unit it doesn't sound right but is it normal? I've moved it around as far as I can with it, it stops for a minute then hums again or rattles...
