Awesome powerful fan. It does make some noise like most blower style fans, but it is well built and should last much longer than most pedestal fans or box fans.

I purchased this fan after seeing a very similar one with a higher price tag at another retailer. I needed a solution to help with ventilation in a damp basement and this has done the trick. My only regret is that I wish I had purchased sooner. Easy to operate and doesn't take up much space!

The squirrel cage blower forces a lot more air than a regular fan blade. It works out well, as long as there enough cool air in the early mornings to really make a difference.
