My husband loves these rain gauges. If one breaks or cracks it's not an arm or a leg to replace it. The only time one has been cracked was our fault. We like them and recommend them. We just want to see how much rain has accumulated. This rain gauge serves that purpose.

It will be adequate if/when I nail it to a wood fence or onto a wooden stake pounded into the ground. I was hoping the pointed bottom of the metal holder would keep the gauge in place vertically but it's too small and easily bends when pressure is applied to it.
