Vornado Ultra3 Whole Room Ultrasonic Humidifier, Black

I bought this unit for my office in a building with no humidification during the winter. My existing unit did not have the power to push the water mist into the room like the Vornado and I could tell right away I had a superior unit. I am very happy and would recommend this humidifier to anyone.

Replaced an older Vornado Ultra 1 that could do 1000 sq ft. room. The new Ultra 3 does not do as large of area and the tank is smaller, so more refilling needed. It is also a bit loud on high speed. I do like the sleek design and the fact it takes the same mineral cartridge as prior models. T...

I like the idea of no paper filters to buy. Wonder that will be better over all. Had about a month so far so good.

Ultrasonics don't put pout as much moisture as evaporative types but they're more reliable. Although the Ultra 3 comes with a resin-based mineral filter, you should use distilled or reverse osmosis grade water so that minerals don't plate out onto your furnishings and in your lungs.
