I ordered this electric fuel pump to replace the original one on my Buick 455 in my 40 Buick special. It works great, was easy to mount, but is noisy at stop signs and low speed. At highway speeds it’s not noticeable.

Read the reviews previously posted, so I was expecting some issues with installation, but happily there were no issues. The instructions were a little weak on the wiring (have not used this particular plug / wire clip before), but sorted it out with no issues.

The pump is heavy-duty and very well constructed. We installed it in a Travco motor home and it works great.

This has to be the best fuel pump around for the money, it is very quiet & easy to fit & looks professional, it also comes with all the fittings. The nuts that hold the pump on the bracket are a bit flimsy so be careful not to over tighten. Good job Carter
