It's very sturdy wood, however, the picture and color description don't match. I guess I didn't understand the color name and instead went by picture on website! It's way lighter than I wanted! I would return it but not sure how to! Haven't built it yet as I'm so afraid I'll hate the color!

First of all pay attention to this products description... it says Light Golden Brown which is exactly what it is. The photographs make it look much darker than it really is so be prepared. Also, do not expect to load this thing up with books it is not that sturdy. I really expected more at this ...

Cheap and falling apart! The metal bracket just kept breaking. Wood is good quality put poor quality parts makes it unsteady and only good for firewood

Easy to assemble and perfect for what it was intended for. Only issue is that 1 of the shelves has slight crack.
