We have this in a dining area. It's silent, except when it decides it needs to work hard for a few seconds. We turn it on for an hour in the early morning, and before/during dinner. No complaints.

This is my second Coway Mega. The first is in my living room, the second I put in the bedroom. I'm allergic to my cats, all of whom sleep with me, so I really like the timer feature to set the time it runs. Works wonderfully and really helps clear the air.
