Great art and a clever/cute story. A feisty sword-wielding girl, a princess-y (in the very best ways) girl, and a culinarily inclined boy go on a giant slaying adventure. Definitely good for middle grade book talks this year. The very last page was a bit... strange. Maybe this will be a series?

My 4-5-6yo and I greatly enjoyed this story of the bloodthirsty, but self-centered protagonist, and her wacky village. I thought all the characters were really fun, and it was a great read for grown-ups as well as the younger set. I'll be looking for more from Aguirre & Rosado.
