I have a motion detection fixture but it didn't work since the motion detection part was smashed. I put this GE bulb in the fixture and I have my motion detection back. I think it coming on scared off 3 people that approached my car to break in or steal a week or so ago. I love this bulb.

The motion bulb works great. Very bright. I don't know if the motion detector works well as it is in a motion detector housing. it goes on at the same time the regular spotlight hoes on.

I got rid of my motion detection fixtures, I installed the simple straight forward fixture (paid $11 at Home depot) designed for ease of installation flood light on the roof eaves . So far so good. Only have had them for about a month. We're excited to have been able to get motion detection without having to install some other fixtures! They work. I need them to keep down the critters from eating my vegetables in the garden. We'll see how that part goes next spring.
