I love this heater, so much so I bought 2 of them. There's a switch for you only to display the "flames", there's a 1,000 W switch, a 1500 W switch, and a thermostat. My only disappointment was that 1 of them came bent but I'm resourceful enough that I took it apart and bent it back into shape....
