The scarf is not real soft but it is not scratchy either. It is rather wide. It could be worn with many colors in all seasons except summer. Attractive with many outfits. I will wear this scarf often.

this is actually an infinity scarf (not an oblong scarf as the name states) but it's a great addition to my summer wardrobe. I love the simple black and white pattern. I tend to wear a lot of solid colors, so it's a nice little bit of pattern. very soft and breezy fabric, not too hot for summer.
