This rug smells of chemicals mold and mildew. Washing did not help. I'll try vinegar and then baking soda. Oh, and, be careful, colors run in wash. Next-trip to the health department. I thought maybe joining.Wal-Mart , but now, no way!

One star for being a 2'3" x 5' striped, runner rug as the product title specifies. Sadly, the only cotton I found in the rug was the weaving cord and tassels. The "rags" in this rag rug appear to be nylon hosiery fabric...not in high demand these days. If you have no preference for cotton over ny...

I also bought a Safavieh rag rug---from another website. That website assured me Safavieh stored the rugs, not them. As one of the above reviews said, it STUNK of mildew and chemicals---so strongly that 2 trash bags could not hide the odor. I ordered a "multi-colored" one, and it was SO BRIGHT--...

The rug I received looks nothing like the picture, not even close. I'm disappointed in it.

Bright, comfortable woven cotton rug. Unfortunately, shortlived because unraveled in washing machine.
