I've not used the freezer yet. The fridge is quiet and works great. I put the door on the opposite side. A couple of screw holes were missing on the other side, but it worked. There's a can holder in the door and it holds 12 fl oz soda bottles as well as cans. Mine is next to my bed. So quiet.
