You just fill it with a little bit of water and then throw it in the fridge over night and it's ready to go in the morning! It kept me cool for hours especially when I was stuck directing traffic in this Georgia...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vest itself is actually made preety well. Its not a cheap throwaway. Quality is there for sure. Now it works ok when you pour a chiling cold bottle of water into it. But only lasts a few minutes before it gets hot due to ambient temperature....
