For softness it's a 1-3 star these are durable pillowcases not soft. The color is perfect and the price and pair is a great deal. I wanted these for color and every day use as kids and people hangout and want a pillow these are perfect and seem like they will last forever.

The pillowcases are a great value and a great, bright pattern, thick material. I bought 50 to make into pillowcase dresses as part of a volunteer organization, but will work great on pillows too
