I was unable to get involved in the story and the characters. I don't think this was the book for me. Still, I recommend that you guys should read it if you're interested. It all comes down to preference.

Was between 3 and 4 stars for me. Ended up being 3 stars because I was interested in the story. Overall, I could overlook the slight world-building issues, the instant love between the characters, and Gayda (she bugged me).
