I bought the smoke detector a few months back and hooked it up today (3/19/2023). I tried to test it and it's no good. I spent good hard earned money with Kidde and got junk. Im sure other people have gotten good stuff from them. I don't think I'll buy any thing from them in the future.

This smoke alarm didn't even make it past the sixth year of the ten advertised, will not be buying or recommending anything from this company again.

The alarm lasted 10 months before going off nonstop. Cleaning is not the issue. Had to disable it because the hush function was not stopping it for more than a few seconds. Extremely frustrated because I bought quite a few of these.
