I often look for active stories, but the quiet book series is interesting in how Deborah Underwood identifies the quiet activities that are just as entertaining. I anticipate with each page turn what activity she comes up with next. This Christmas addition is perfect to read by the tree at night.

I heard over a year ago that Renata Liwska was illustrating this book and at last I have it in my hands. It more than meets my expectations. One of the nicest additions to my Christmas picture book collection in a long time. Love Nutcracker quiet.
