The compression part of the short does need to be pulled down every so often when you are working out

Highly reccommend. Hides muffin tops etc. very comfortable. If you are a size 16 I recommend a size L. Size 18=XL

I normally wear a medium but ended up ordering a small. It fits great and the fabric allows freedom of movement.
