They are definitely louder than the factory 04 mustang factory's speakers but the factory speakers had more bass this is also on a 700$ radio

Perfect upgrade over stock! I have a 2001 Excursion and mounted these in the doors. The head unit is aftermarket, but i run them on an amp with 60 watts RMS... perfect. These rank up there with the Kicker and Rockford Fosgate 6x8’s as far as sound quality in my opinion... defintely worth your d...
