This product provides a Class A rating with Zero Smoke Development and Zero Flame Spread (when applied correctly and tested according to ASTM E-84).

It maintains paint-ability with only a slight dilution of the paint and does not corrode or tarnish metallic paints, nor does it yellow the finished film.

Proper effectiveness requires a minimum 2 mil paint film to develop, using 8 oz.
