Excellent metallic and clearcoat finish used as undercoat for candy apple red topcoat using duplicolor Metal cast red anodized spray paint.

I used this paint to paint the centers of my hubcaps on my 1977 Datsun 280Z. They turned out great. I think the trick is to paint a low temperatures. I did mine at 40°F and didn't have any orange peel. I followed up afterwards with clear Lacquer.

Not brassy, just a subtle gold. Results will depend on what color you are covering. Painting chrome resulted in a champagne gold color; painting a tarnished gold faucet resulted in a more brownish gold. Good coverage, though it seems like there isn't as much paint in a can as there used to be.
