For the price, absolutely can't be beat, without getting lucky second hand, gear plate was a little rough, it binds up a little in a couple spots, but for the price it's functional and pretty much dead on for true.

Such good value. Soooo worth it. I was a little scared because its much cheaper than other options out there but it is soooo good. I use it for bowls and cups all the time and it works great. Just make sure your lathe is on a lower speed when using it.

I adapted this to fit an antique Southbend lathe. I inherited this from my father. The 4 jaw chuck worked for me for years but it took a lot of time to use . I had to make my own mount for this chuck and it came out great and the chuck is centered really nicely. I would have given it five stars b...

This is a good chuck for the price. As with many items from overseas,be prepared to clean it before using. It had a lot of mill dust inside. After cleaning it worked great. The tolerance isn’t exactly precision but easily fixed with a couple of passes.
