Works great so far, there is no actual ratcheting click, so that is something to get used to, but it pushed open 3/4 ton calipers with ease on a 98 ram, the same ones that stripped the threads off the c-clamp I was using. Will work well for trucks and SUVs, but might not be usable on small cars

I purchases the spreader to use on my wife Tahoe break job, i have used other home made items, but when i seen the break pad spreader i liked the design its handy and not bad on price. works well.

I bought this for a brake job on some enclosed 6 piston brakes and it definitely did the trick. It was so easy. I have a whole brake tool kit and this was way easier. It’s My new tool of choice when it comes to brakes now.

Had a little too much flex for 4 piston brakes. Had to use a c clamp on the other side to get the Pistons fully compressed would probably work much better on a two-person rack
