These hand pruners were my favorite, they cut sticks that had fallen from the trees like butter, just a simple squeeze, and "Boom" My wife even enjoyed using these.

Works great. I have arthritis in my hands and it still cut smoothly and effortlessly. As long as you abide by the guidelines and don't cut anything bigger than what is recommended, you shouldn't have any issues.
