Just got it today and it's already laying flat, no curly corners like with thinner rugs. No smell, just need to vacuum multiple times to get the shedding out, but that's to be expected with wool rugs. The dark red and navy make a great combo and brightened up our otherwise bland decor. So far this rug is great. Super soft and fine. It's shedding a little bit but not much.

I love the look and thickness of this rug, it's exactly what I wanted and pictured. But it does shed a LOT. We put our roomba to work on it and I had to empty him out 9 times in 15 minutes and I still don't think there was an end in sight. Hoping that improves with time...
