We did need an adapter as the thread on the screw in bolt was smaller then the one that it connect to the water line but otherwise it functions perfectly and gives better water pressure

Everyone knows after some years your old tub spout gets corroded and looks just terrible. You could hire a plumber and spend a lot to replace it. The BEST option is to purchase this easy to install tub spout and diverted made by Danco. It has everything you need to make the installation simple...
