I got this after trying the metal butterfly wax warmer and this is so much better. The metal wax warmer has a metal frame touching the bulb directly so after a few hours of burning yankee wax the smell was gone. I wouldn't leave it on too long either . This warmer is ceramic? Or clay like a co...

I bought these with the larger warmers... I love that they have a cover over them because I have cats and now their tails won't get waxy and they won't get spilled onto the floor
