This fan you do have to operate by hand but I have mounted mine on the wall to blow across my bed to keep me cool at night. It will oscillate and tilt backwards to get the proper angle. It also has a 3 speed to get the right air flow to you. I love it!

Holmes Blizzard 9" fan. This fan was exactly as described. It is small, as we are using it in our bathroom, and it takes up very little space. The amount of air flow is exactly what we wanted. We are purchasing another for our second bathroom.

We bought it for the noise for sleeping at night. Some fans you can barely hear but if you're looking for white noise this one is great. I just wish it was a bit smaller.
