Bought this for my daughter's bedroom, it's the hottest room in the house. We tested it in the living room first and it cooled the room well. I haven't tried the ice packs yet but I hope they will work well once it gets hotter.

Great little cooler. Took out of box and place ice and water turned it on and cooled the back room in my fifth wheel off. And beat part is I don’t have to vent it and fits nice in a small room. Going to buy another for the front room.

This portable AC actually works a lot better than I expected. I got it for a room in the back of my house that doesn't get a lot of air flow and it worked great to cool it off. And I'm in West Texas, it's very hot! The noise level is very low and the remote is very convenient.
