Easily readable numerals from a distance, nice color and and size, and it works (unlike the 20-year old clock it replaced) . It does produce a "tick-tick-tick" sound as the second hand moves, so it is NOT a silent clock - but that's fine in our kitchen. Some reviews seem to have had problems usin...

nice size for where i wanted it in my florida room. love the green color. keeps good time.

Nice large numbers that can be read across the room. It is used in our living room decorated with a bough of flowers on top. Time can be read from across the room in almost any level of lightening.
