I got this runner for my entryway--I think the jute woven in will help absorb any wetness coming in and out of the house when it's raining outside. The rug itself is soooooo chic. Chunky, with white pieces woven through out, and rough/loose edges everywhere. I saw a similar rug at Pottery Barn......

So happy with this purchase! Rug is gorgeous, a nice heavy weight - unlike that nylon atuff that is so popular now! No ahedding, color matched photo. We have leather furniture and the rug looks great with it.
