blender bottom is very sturdy. I wanted to use canning jars with the blender and some of my mason jars do not fit with the bottom. Remember to put the rubber ring on the inside of the structure. otherwise it is a good deal and you do not have to spend a lot of money on a new blending...

Bought this and the glass jar portion for the kitchen blender. Both work like the original before I dropped and broke the old part. Glass jar and blender blade portions sold separately.

This is a upgrade, with more blending power, not that I needed it. With my blender. Great item and price. And it does fit on MOST Oster blenders. Not sure, about fitting,call Oster.
